picture of

Deep ruby red wine with purple reflections in its youth. Vibrant notes of red fruit with plum as the dominant factor. Soft spiciness in the background with notes of almonds. Pleasant sunny character with mild acids and soft tannins. Tasty, medium long finish.

Delicious with all kinds of meat such as beef, lamb and stew. Also delicious with Mediterranean, spicy preparations and soft to medium matured cheeses.

climate

Mediterranean climate with little rainfall. Warm dry summers and mild winters with limited precipitation. A sea breeze cools the vineyards.

soil

Vineyards from the region between Marsala and Agrigento. Sandy soils with a high clay content.

vinification

After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and followed by a short maceration on the skins, during which the fermentation is started in stainless steel vats under a low and controlled temperature. The wine stays there for about a year before being bottled.
